802.3 for Lan Transformer Design

2022-11-15

IEEE 802.3 is a working group that writes the collection standards of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) which defines medium access control (MAC) for the physical layer and data link layer of wired Ethernet. This is typically a local area network (LAN) technology with some wide area network (WAN) applications. Physical connections are established between nodes and/or infrastructure devices (hubs, switches, routers) through various types of copper or optical cables.
